Hi John, it's been about four years since we last looked at your coverage, and a fair amount has changed at home since then. I'd like to put thirty minutes on the calendar to walk through where your protection stands today and whether it still matches the plan. No preparation needed on your end.

Where GEMINA is today
A pilot, described honestly.
GEMINA is being built with a small number of firms, and the screens above show where it is going rather than a product you can log into this afternoon. Here is the actual line between the two, so nothing on this page has to be taken on trust.

Five ways a household becomes a conversation
Two questions, asked of every household: what protection is missing, and what stopped fitting.
An advisor with 200 households cannot re-read 200 files each quarter. GEMINA reads them all: the clients who may need coverage they never bought, and the policies that no longer match the life around them. It only speaks up when a conversation looks warranted.
01
Uncovered need
Protection the household may need and does not own.
What it looks likeA new child and no individual life policy behind the employer’s two-times-salary group plan. A business formed with a partner and nothing funding the buy-sell. A high earner whose only disability coverage caps at sixty percent of base salary.
02
Coverage gap vs. need
There is a policy. It is no longer the right size.
What it looks likeIncome recorded up forty percent since issue. A mortgage refinanced upward while the death benefit stayed where it was in 2018. A second earner who left work and was never re-underwritten.
03
Conversion window
A right the client owns today and loses on a date.
What it looks likeA 20-year term with 74 days left on its conversion privilege. A rider that expires at the next anniversary. An age band about to change the math for good.
04
Beneficiary & ownership
Paperwork pointing at a life the client no longer has.
What it looks likeA designation untouched since 2016 against a marital status updated in 2023. A minor named outright. A policy owned personally while the estate plan names a trust.
05
Policy at risk
In-force coverage quietly failing to do its job.
What it looks likeA universal life projected to lapse before age 78 at the current funding level. A premium mode changed without a conversation. A loan compounding against the cash value.
The data nobody else has
Planned · not in the pilot
The household already knows. So ask them.
Every other way of spotting a protection need is an inference: a guess from a note, a demographic bracket, a file bought from a data broker. Nobody has to guess whether a client had a second child or bought into a business. They know, and they will tell their advisor.
Once a year GEMINA prepares a short check-in that the advisor reviews and sends under their own name. Eight questions, about two minutes, and it returns what no CRM contains: who depends on this income, what the mortgage looks like now, whether there is a business and a partner, what the group coverage actually caps out at.
First-party and current
Answers come from the household, dated and consented, so a flag carries the client's own words as its evidence instead of a statistical guess.
A reason to reach every client
Advisors want an annual touch and rarely have a natural one. The check-in is that, and the responses make the review conversation that follows a short one.
It compounds
Document extraction is becoming a commodity. A permissioned record of what your clients need, refreshed every year, is not. Each cycle sharpens detection on data no competitor can buy.
Compliance approves it once
Advisor-branded, advisor-sent, and free of product content or recommendations. Your team signs off on the questions, and GEMINA never adds to them.

6 of 8 answered · about two minutes
Illustrative. Answers attach to the household as evidence, so the advisor opens the review already knowing what changed.
Scope, on purpose
One layer first. The rest is earned.
Client Opportunity Intelligence is a large category, and GEMINA intends to fill it. But a platform earns its breadth by being extremely useful at one thing first, so today GEMINA does protection. No held-away asset scoring, no referral engine, no note-taking, no second dashboard for your advisors to ignore.

How GEMINA works
STEP 01
Connect your data
Import a file or connect read-only to the systems your firm already runs. Nothing moves, nothing is replaced, and your CRM stays the system of record.
01Import or connect client and CRM data
Today: a read-only export from the CRM and policy files
Planned: direct connections to Redtail, Wealthbox, Salesforce FSC, Practifi
Policy and annuity administration feeds
Carrier in-force files and illustrations
Annual client check-in responses, sent in the advisor's name
Typical first scan: about two weeks from the export
STEP 02
Find what was missed
Each scan reads every household against the five protection signals, missing coverage and mis-fitting coverage alike, then ranks by client impact and by how soon the window closes. Continuous nightly scoring is on the build plan.
02Identify clients who may warrant a protection review
03Explain why each client was flagged
04Prioritize the opportunities worth this week
Confidence is stated, never implied
Firm rules suppress what you don't want surfaced
STEP 03
Turn it into a conversation
Opportunities become advisor-ready work: a suggested next action, a drafted note, and a brief that carries the evidence into the meeting.
05Suggest the next action
06Draft the advisor's outreach
07Advisor reviews and approves before anything is sent
Planned: tasks and notes writing back to your CRM
Firm reporting on what was surfaced and what was acted on
Advisor in the loop
Advisors decide. GEMINA prepares.
Built to extend an advisor's attention, not to replace their judgment. GEMINA never recommends a product, and nothing reaches a client without an advisor approving it and sending it.
Evidence on every opportunity
Open any flag and see the policy, illustration, note or date it came from. No unexplained scores.
No product recommendations
GEMINA identifies that a protection conversation may be warranted and shows why. Which product, which carrier, and whether to act at all is the licensed advisor's call, every time.
No automated client outreach
Briefs are prepared for review. Advisors edit and send, or dismiss with a reason that trains the firm's rules.
Your CRM stays the record
Activity writes back where compliance already looks, so the audit trail lives in one place.
Why this exists
Built around a problem I saw firsthand.
I worked with financial advisory firms on insurance opportunities that were never captured inside the client relationships they already had. The households were there and the need was there. What was missing was a reliable way to find the right household, at the right moment, with a reason to make the call.
Advisors were not neglecting these conversations. They were being asked to notice a change in a file they last opened four years ago, across two hundred households, without anything telling them where to look.
GEMINA is that missing piece, built deliberately and narrowly. Protection first, evidence on every flag, and the advisor deciding what happens next.

Security & compliance
Read-only, always
GEMINA only reads. Nothing is written back to your systems today, and any future write access will be per firm and per field, with your approval.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Client data is encrypted both ways, access is limited to the people working on your engagement, and we delete it on request.
Your data stays yours
Never sold, never pooled, and never used to build models that serve another firm.
Independent audit
Not yet. GEMINA is in pilot, and a SOC 2 Type II examination is planned before general release. Ask where we are and we will tell you precisely.
Questions firms ask first
Before you send anything
How long before we see the first opportunities?
Most firms start with a one-time scan of a sample of the book, a read-only export with no integration, and see the list inside two weeks. Firms that move to the ongoing product then connect their CRM and one policy administration source, and the first live queue is reviewed with your team before it reaches advisors.
Why only protection?
Because coverage drift is the one gap with a date attached. A conversion right expires whether or not anybody noticed, which makes it both the most expensive thing to miss and the easiest to verify we found correctly. Breadth can come later. Being right cannot.
Does GEMINA recommend products?
No. It identifies that a household may warrant a protection review, either because coverage is missing or because it no longer matches the circumstances, and shows the records that say so. Suitability, best-interest obligations and every client conversation stay with the licensed advisor.
What happens to signals we disagree with?
Dismiss it with a reason. Those reasons become firm rules, so the same class of false positive stops appearing across the book rather than only in one advisor's queue.
What if our policy data is incomplete?
Most firms' data is. GEMINA states confidence per signal and shows what it could not see, so a partial file produces a qualified finding rather than a confident guess.

Same clients. Better protected.
Send us 200 households. We come back with the protection opportunities sitting in them, coverage that is missing and coverage that stopped fitting, plus the records behind each one.
